Raisin and Apple Pie : INGREDIENTS
- 400 g Puff Pastry
- 500 g Raisins and Sultanas
- 250 ml Water
- 80 g Brown Sugar
- 20 g Butter
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 400 g Pie Apple
- 150 g Original FUTURELIFE® Smart food™
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 180 C
- Place raisins, sultanas and water in a pan and simmer until raisins and sultanas are plump.
- Add sugar, butter and cinnamon and boil for 4 minutes.
- Add the pie apple and FUTURELIFE® Smart food™ and mix together.
- Place in a 20cm round pie dish.
- Cut puff pastry into ½ cm strips, and layer on top to form a lattice then egg wash.
- Bake for 30 min.
